Brazing baguettes

Silver alloy baguettes are used in a wide spectrum of industries such as:

HVAC/R Industry (Heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration).

– All phos copper and phos copper silver alloys. From L-CUP6, L-CUP7, L-CUP8 (heat exchangers manufacturing) in rings or rod formats (copper – copper connections), to L-AG2P, L-AG5P (Copper – copper / copper – brass connections), and L-AG15p, Dynaflow, L-AG18P for high responsability or big size copper – copper and copper – brass connections.

– High silver alloys: we offer a great variety of baguettes, ranging from L-AG25Sn , L-AG30Sn for plumbing to L-AG34Sn, L-AG40Sn for most industrial applications and L-AG45Sn, L-AG55SN, L-AG56Sn alloys when the temperature has to be controlled and the base metals cannot be overheated. With all these alloys you can braze iron, steel, niquel, stainless steel, copper, copper alloys, titanium and most metals except aluminium.

Automotive Industry:

– On the automotive industry the most common alloys are.

– Electrolitic copper for iron – iron connections made on controlled atmosphere furnaces (hydraulic pipes)

– CUSI3 / CUAL8 for structural connections without overheating the base metals. (Car Shapes).

– AlSi12 for aluminium heat exchangers and aluminium connections.

Tooling Industry

– High silver alloys. Mainly L-AG30Sn and L-AG49NIMN for hard metal – tungsten brazing, but also other high silver alloys are used.

– CUZNNI alloys. The same applications for which high silver alloys are used but the melting temperature is higher.

– L-AG5P

– L-AG25SN

– TIN SILVER ALLOYS 96-4  (STAY BRITE)

– TIN COPPER ALLOYS 97-3 (SPEEDY)

– BRIDGIT.

Moreover, we offer various brazing alloys that are designed to reduce the amount of precious metals ( silver) used on the alloys. These are for example: Blockade that is designed to replace L-AG5P and Dynaflow that is designed to replace L-AG15P.
